Photo Shoot: Directions & Textures

Oh, just decided to go for a walk out in the brrrrrrrr-ness near sunset to contemplate my life in terms of its purpose and direction. And not more than two minutes into my walk I see a street sign. One of those "you must go right or left" signs.

I thought, "how ironic, that's exactly how I feel right now... and, (like my photographic brain tends to think), that would make such a great picture!"

So I went back to get my camera... and what do ya'know...

I ended up making neither a right nor a left, but rather, walked right on through the tunnel and under the rail bridge.

"How very much like my life," I also thought, "more options then a simple, definite right or left, and how very me to end up going whatever the 'other' route is!"

Any who... I started to see my city surroundings  in a different way...

I ended up noticing details... and all the textures... in very ordinary places...

And they are what I caught on film...

What a rich world we live in,

Enjoy!

Love the pictures. And by "caught on film" you mean "saved files to a memory card"?
