Thoughts on Confidence

Courage, confidence, faith, trust: such things are built over time, experience upon experience.

We need not be frustrated with ourselves when we have moments of struggle or even perceived failure in such matters, so long as we are building - making progress. Building is what matters. And building is always a process - a process that occurs or takes place over time.

And the greater the building - or, the greater the courage, confidence, faith, trust - the greater the time often involved.

So don't lose heart in the heat of a trying experience.

Instead, celebrate the stones and frameworks that have already been laid, which you now drawn upon in the battle. Remember where you have come from, remember where you are going and stand in what has been built thus far. Stand in the confidence of the Mind behind all plans and let yourself be fortified even further.

For it is by the very entrance into anything fearful that such things as courage, confidence, faith, and trust are begat.
